About us

Alois Niedermühlbichler founded Niedermühlbichler Bau in Spittal an der Drau in 1961, and the company relocated to Seeboden in 1964. Today, we are a traditional Carinthian business, employing around 40 members of staff – including four apprentices – from the local area.

From building construction to manual masonry: our company has specialists for every area. We offer our customers everything from a single source, from planning to implementation. This guarantees your construction project is carried out to high standards at all times: we don’t settle for anything less. As part of the internationally active PORR Group, we regularly broaden our expertise and optimise our construction processes. We always keep up with state-of–the-art technology and offer our employees ongoing training opportunities.

We also consider it important to offer young people appropriate vocational training. Our in-house apprenticeship centre has trained over 300 apprentices during the decades of our existence, and new trainees join us every year – something we are rightly proud of.

Seeboden and the surrounding region are not just our workplace. The employees at Niedermühlbichler Bau also have strong personal connections with the idyllic region on the shores of Lake Millstatt. As a business rubbing shoulders with nature, we understand how important a healthy ecosystem is for humanity. We want future generations to also be able to enjoy nature intact.
